二、研究领域
主要针对东海区海洋生物养殖产业的发展需求,开展东海区海洋生物种质资源发掘与利用、海洋生物新种质的开发和繁育、海洋生物的遗传工程与育种等领域的研究,为海洋生物种业工程的可持续性发展提供技术支撑。
(1)海洋生物遗传变异与分子进化研究。主要对海洋生物种群分化、遗传变异、物种形成、系统发生及分子进化等关键科学问题进行研究。综合探讨海洋生物种群进化和物种发生的地理历史因素及现今环境机制,以中性理论为基础揭示主要经济种类的种质资源状况及其形成的一般规律。
(2)海洋生物生殖调控与繁育技术研究。主要开展海洋经济动植物繁殖生物学、生殖神经内分泌机制、性成熟调控机理研究,并开展生殖调控和种苗繁育技术研究,开发适于人工增养殖的海洋生物新种类。
(3)海洋生物遗传育种与品种改良技术研究。主要围绕海洋养殖经济种类的遗传选育和品种改良等关键技术问题,开展海洋生物基因与基因组学研究,解析重要性状的分子基础和机制,创新遗传育种技术与方法;综合运用数量遗传学育种、细胞学育种、分子遗传育种及基因组育种等多种技术手段开展重要养殖经济种类的品种改良,培育性状优良、高产抗逆的养殖新品种。
