主要从事近海动力过程和生态响应研究,对潮汐、潮流、锋面、近海环流和亚中尺度流等动力过程,以及养殖区营养盐交换、黄东海水华、近海碳通量等过程的物理驱动机制开展了研究,在海洋生态动力模型参数优化和数值预报方面具有较多的研究经验。发表论文40余篇,第一或通讯作者近20篇,包括GRL、JPO、JGR和Ocean Modelling等Top期刊,合作发表专著2部,专利10余项。主持了国家自然科学基金、浙江省基金、科技部国际重点专项课题和自然资源部第二海洋研究所英才项目等10余项课题,作为骨干成员参与了973课题、国家调查专项和国家重点研发计划等多项课题。先后在美国西北太平洋国家实验室和德国汉堡大学长期交流访问4次。参加了中国近海水文调查航次40余次。承担中国海洋湖沼分会理事、中国海洋发展研究会分会理事、应用海洋学青年编委等事务。
